The base gas-powered Macan trim comes standard with a 4-cylinder, twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering up to 261 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. You can also expect a top track speed of 144 mph and a quarter-mile of 14.7 seconds. For even more power, go for the Macan GTS trim that comes standard with a 6-cylinder engine powering up to 434 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque, and reaching top track speeds of 169 mph.
All trims come standard with the 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) for dynamic and agile driving. You can also expect steel spring suspension and a speed-sensitive, power-assisted steering system. If choosing an all-electric version, you’ll find a driving range of 315 mi and over-boost power of 355 hp in the base model.
Sports Car Character
The Macan is a five-door, five-seat compact SUV with sports car contours, including a distinguishable sloping roofline. There’s a front fascia with newly designed spoilers, a redesigned rear fascia and diffuser, and SportDesign side skirts. You’ll also find a privacy glass on the rear side windows and rear windshield.
